Anahola Hawaiian Homelands

Anahola has a community maintained trail systems that is accessed via the northern end of the Ke Ala Hele Makalae Path, and via Anahola Beach park.  This area is cross-country oriented with gravel roads, lots of single track and moderate downhill runs.  Amazing seaside cliffs and forest paths abound.  Please see our Facebook group for the trail map.

Powerline Road

Utility road that is a vigorous climb and descent through the center of the island.  Incredible views from the top of the north, south and east shores from one spot.  Given its central mountain location, it is commonly very wet and muddy.  This is a good one on a dry day.

Moalepe and Kuilau Ridge Trails

A fun climb and descent with great views and rugged terrain. Best in drier weather. Kuilau starts near the south point of the Powerline Road. It’s a popular hiking spot as well, so be mindful of the visitors asking if it’s muddy 😉
